True Love Ways
Where does fifteen years go? Seems like only yesterday I forever gave my heart away. I was so young, just eighteen, but I knew then just as I know now it was a gift that I would never take back. It was forever, for keeps, for better, and for worse.
We've experienced more of the better, some of the worse and through it all I have never once doubted that my heart was treasured. I can't imagine looking back through the past fifteen years with anyone else by my side.I can't imagine sharing my laughter or tears with any other. God truly blessed me when He brought him into my life. What a privilege it is to call him mine!
I look forward to many more years ahead with my best friend, husband, and daddy to our three children.
Our Song
~True Love Ways~
Just you know why~why you and I~will by and by~know true love ways.~
Sometimes we'll sigh~sometimes we'll cry~but you'll know why ~just you and I know true love ways.
Through out the days~those true love ways~will bring us joys to share~with those who really care.
Sometimes we'll sigh~sometimes we'll cry~but you'll know why~just you and I know true love ways.

Valentine Fun
I have been VERY busy this month. It seems like once we get our first ninety days of school under our belt I can get quite preoccupied with getting us to the finish line of the school year. We passed the one hundred day mark several weeks back. WOO HOO!
This post is overdue but I was determined to get it on before March.
My sister and I decided to host a Valentine party for our kids. They had a wonderful time and it was equally enjoyable for us.
Hope you enjoy our photos from the day.
My sons know how to treat a lady. My youngest demonstrates what he has seen my husband do many times.

Valentine Wishes
1 Corinthians 13:1-8a and 13
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails....And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

It's Just A Number......

I guess you could say I'm feeling a little odd today.

Snow Day Fun
LOVE CRAFTS!
A few days back I got bit by the crafting bug. Since Valentine's Day is coming up I decided to make something for the special day.
I set out for the local craft store with a few ideas. I came home with some adorable scrapbooking paper, glittery letters, silver pipe cleaners, and some pretty ribbon I found in a fifty cent bin. With a little hot glue, hole punch, craft scissors I created a really CUTE addition to our Valentine decorations.
You could hang these over a mirror, window or from your fireplace mantle.
You might want to make other garlands with different "Valentine" words or
phrases. Get creative with embellishments like buttons, glitter or stickers that will make this craft TRULY your own.
Little hands love to lace the ribbon through the holes so it is a craft they can get in on. You could also make it an opportunity to review letters and phonics skills by simply asking what each letter is and what sound it makes.
Hope you will give this craft a try. I think you'll LOVE it!
